Industrial power
Protecting PLCs, drives and control rooms from the dips and outages that trip a whole production line.
UPS, inverters, batteries and standby power. Plus sound systems for churches, weddings, clubs and conference rooms. Based in Dar es Salaam, working across Tanzania.
One 3 kVA unit in an office or a three-phase system in a plant room: the same team sizes it, installs it and comes back to service it.
Backup for servers, tills, medical equipment and control systems. We supply new units and repair the ones you already have.
UPS solutionsFor long outages rather than short dips. Quiet, no fuel, and it can work alongside your generator or solar.
Inverters and batteriesCabling, protection, labelling and testing, with the test records handed over at the end.
Our commissioning processService visits, battery testing and fault finding. We also take on systems other companies installed.
Maintenance servicesWhere a few seconds off costs money or puts people at risk: hospitals, telecom sites, plant rooms, server rooms.
Critical powerDesign, installation, DSP and tuning. We stay for the first event to make sure the system behaves.
Sound engineeringWith an online UPS your equipment never runs straight off the mains. When the supply drops, nothing on the output notices.
We started out repairing equipment, not selling it, and it still shows. We measure the load before quoting, and we would rather talk you out of an oversized UPS than sell you one.
Six steps, the same on a 3 kVA office UPS as on a church PA.
What has to stay running, and what it costs you when it doesn't.
Load readings, space, ventilation, earthing and cable routes. For audio, the room itself.
Sizing, equipment and a quote that lists what is included.
Labelled cables, correct protection, tidy work.
Transfer, bypass and battery tests, with the readings written down.
Service visits, spares, and a call answered when something goes wrong.
Three places where a power cut or bad sound costs real money.
Protecting PLCs, drives and control rooms from the dips and outages that trip a whole production line.
Rectifiers, battery banks and solar hybrid for towers, shelters and network rooms, including sites far from town.
Line arrays, monitors and wireless microphones, tuned for the venue instead of dropped off in boxes.
The customers who call us most.
We work on most of the UPS and audio brands sold here, including equipment we did not supply. If you have an older unit, ask us before replacing it.
Trademarks and logos belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify equipment we work with. They do not indicate an official partnership.
Two checks we run on customer sites every week. Start here, then we confirm it properly on site.
If two or three of these sound familiar, get the system checked before the next outage finds the problem.
Enter the total load you want to protect.
Guide only: assumes 0.9 output power factor, 80% maximum UPS loading, 94% inverter efficiency and a 1.25 battery ageing factor. Our engineers confirm the final design after a load survey.

We need three things: the load in kW, how long it must run on battery, and whether your supply is single or three phase. If you are not sure, we come and measure, and we leave room for equipment you plan to add later.
Yes: cabling, battery connection, settings, testing and handover. You get the test readings on paper, not just a verbal assurance that it works.
Yes, as single visits or a contract. Each visit covers inspection and cleaning, alarm and parameter checks, fan and capacitor condition, and battery testing, and ends with a written report.
Yes, and we test the bank first. Sometimes only a few blocks are weak, but on an old bank it is usually better to change the whole string so the blocks stay matched.
Yes, for homes, offices, shops and factories. Hybrid systems that use grid, generator and solar together are common now, and we set those up too.
Yes. Tell us the venue, the number of guests and whether it is indoors or outside. We bring the system, set it up, tune it and stay through the event.
Yes, and speech comes first. Music matters, but if the preaching is not clear the system has failed. We also train the volunteers who run it each week.
Often the cheapest fix is not new speakers. A proper mixer, correct gain structure and DSP can transform a system. We check what you have and change only what is holding it back.
Yes. Every job includes handover and follow-up. After that you can take a maintenance contract or simply call us when you need us.
Tell us what the problem is. An engineer will get back to you, not a salesperson.
Backup power built for local supply conditions: voltage swings, long outages, generator changeovers, heat and dust.
A UPS does two jobs. It keeps equipment running when the power goes, and it cleans up what comes in: sags, spikes and the jolt when a generator takes over. For anything critical we use online double conversion, where the inverter feeds the load all the time and the battery takes over with no gap.
We handle everything from a 1 kVA unit under a desk to three-phase and modular systems in plant rooms and server rooms. We also service units we did not supply.
The kVA on the label is not the whole story. We rate on real kW and power factor, leave headroom for inrush and harmonics, and work out runtime from your actual load instead of the brochure figure.
When outages last hours rather than seconds, an inverter and battery system makes more sense than running a generator all evening. No fuel, no noise, no exhaust.
Hybrid units combine grid, solar and battery in one system, which cuts generator hours. We size them on what actually has to keep running, not on the whole building.
Batteries fail before anything else in a backup system, and usually because of heat. We supply VRLA (AGM and gel) and lithium iron phosphate, install them on proper racks or in cabinets with the right cabling and protection, then test them so you know the real runtime rather than the rated one.
Lead-acid batteries are rated at about 20 to 25 °C. Every 10 °C above that roughly halves their life, which is why a bank in a hot store room dies years early. We check room temperature and ventilation before we quote.
Hospitals, telecom sites, banks and plant rooms cannot wait for a callout. For these we build in redundancy: N+1 units, maintenance bypass, separate supply paths and battery monitoring, so neither a fault nor a service visit drops the load.
Ten steps, written down, so the next engineer who opens the cabinet knows what was done.

Send the load, or just describe the equipment. We will come and measure if needed, then quote the UPS rating, battery and installation.
Sound design, installation and tuning for churches, weddings, clubs, hotels and conference rooms.
Most poor systems are not short of power. They are badly covered, badly gained, or fighting the room. We work out coverage first, pick equipment to suit, set the DSP and gain structure, then tune it in the room with the system playing.
We are power engineers as well, so the rack gets a clean supply: correct circuits, proper earthing to keep hum out, and UPS backup for the mixer and wireless racks when an event cannot stop.
From the first drawing to the service visit two years later.
A church, a club and a conference room want completely different things. We design for the one that matters in your space.
Speeches people can hear, music that fills the tent, and microphones that do not cut out halfway through.
Low end you can feel, with limiters set so the boxes survive the night. DJ gear and its power supply integrated properly.
Speech first. Clarity in every seat, and a system your volunteers can run on Sunday without calling us.
Background music and paging that staff control with one knob, zoned so the restaurant and the lobby stay separate.

Destiny Electronics designs, installs and maintains UPS, inverter, battery and professional sound systems for organisations in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Twenty-five years of keeping power on and systems audible for people who cannot afford either to fail.
We began as a repair shop. When something came in broken we opened it up and fixed it, and that is still how we think. Selling a bigger box is easy; knowing why the old one failed is the useful part.
The work grew from repairs into full installations: UPS and battery systems, electrical panels, and sound for churches, weddings and clubs. We work in the conditions we live in, so we know what survives here: a grid that comes and goes, generators that change over hard, heat, dust and salt air near the coast. What lasts is not always what the brochure recommends.
Keep our customers' power on and their systems audible, and be the people they call when something goes wrong.
To stay the first call in Dar es Salaam for power protection and sound, and to train the engineers who will take over from us.
Say what the job actually needs. Do the work neatly. Answer the phone afterwards.
Five stages, on every job.
